Hello I’m new to this community really wanted to have support from all ladies I’m 33 years young and it’s been 8.5 year since I got married ive been TTC for 8.5 years with no luck 3 IUIs 1 cancelled ICSi. For years I have been told I have unexplained infertility now one year earlier after going to several doctors one mentioned I have high FSH which concluded that I have low AMH and have premature ovarian insufficiency as I was shocked and panic I decided to go straight for ivf and planned it abroad to have better treatment but it was cancelled as I only produced 1 follicle was very disappointed at that time I started reading about my condition like crazy mean while I go through my test and discovered that I have anti TPo anti bodies which suggests I was auto immune my fertility clinic dr suggest me for donor eggs which is not allowed in our country so I kept researching and went to an endocrinologist and he straight away said after going through my reports that I have Hashimoto’s and put me on levothyroxin . I just started it today and now know the main culprit of my infertility after 8.5 years and seeing several doctors I discovered it by myself and hopeful for a positive outcome now😔

Welcome. Everyone here is very supportive. I am glad you have found the cause. Hopefully you will have your bfp very soon x xx

Welcome & sorry to hear of your struggles.

For 5 years & 10 months we were told our infertility was unexplained. It was very frustrating not knowing the reason.

I then had a laparoscopy June 2017 which found & treated endometriosis, we conceived but had a chemical pregnancy. My endometriosis re grew & i had 2 more laps this year to treat endometriosis, happily I can tell you I am pregnant again but it is very early days & with our history we are cautiously hopeful. For me I found not having a reason harder.

I’m glad they have unearthed your reasons & with it treated I hope you get your BFP soon. It’s a difficult journey but I’m sure your time will come & it will be worth it ❤️✨ xoxo

Hi there, I have Hashimoto’s and am TTC too. I hope this is it for you! What were your levels of TPO antibodies, TSH and Free T4? My doctor says that it is not my thyroid that is causing my infertility but I am convinced it is!
