I’ve only been a member for one day lol but just wanted to say how helpful it’s been to see that I’m not the only one who feels the way I do. My husband is as supportive as he can be but he just doesn’t get why I’m so emotional over it. He says I should just think I’ll never get pregnant and if I do it’s a bonus, I can’t think like that without breaking down. I don’t have anyone to speak about this stuff with so definitely appreciate this group. Thank you xxx

I can’t think that way either because it’s devastating to me. He said that he’s worried that if it doesn’t happen I won’t be able to handle it. He understands though why I can’t think like that. xx

If i was to think the way your oh said i would be a emotional wreck! But its not his fault you will need to speak to him from time to time to make him understand because they don’t realise what a tough journey it is. Im so thank full for this forum too its truly a bless ❤️

Welcome to the forum 😊 As much as hubby will have your best interests at heart, he doesn’t understand... It’s not something which is easy to strip the emotion out of...we’re driven by it, it’s all-consuming.

In my view it’s so different for women, because the want for children is in-built, driven by our hormones. I don’t know when that changed for me - maybe in my early 30s, but it was like a pressing need that came out of nowhere...

It was tough for my hubby too, don’t get me wrong, but I found that I had to find other people to talk to about how I was feeling, because it was an emotional weight for him to see my negativity and my upset. I hope you get lots of support from the forum, I’m sure you will. And in the end it will all be worth it when you get your BFP, regardless of the hurdles you may have to tackle to get there xx
