First IVF- advice pls!
Slowly moving into a more healthy diet is a good shout - and being really good at getting your fluids in - getting your body used to that earlier will be better than trying to make changes in the later stages of your cycle. In your 2ww - you'll be advised to be on a pregnancy diet - so anything that you think you might miss - get it down you!
Good luck with it hun - it's tiring both physically and mentally so be kind to yourself most of all xx
I would just say the same as Novice_knitter with regards to diet and plenty of water, you need to keep hydrated.
I faired pretty well in terms of I didn't suffer much with my injections of 450 Menopur and Cetritide until day day 8 or 9 then had bloating but we're all different. I'd say just take it easy and look after yourself. Xx
Ooh exciting! We just started too, I’ve got my partner to do the injections, not because I don’t want to do them myself (I’m a nurse so well used to needles) but to make him feel part of the process. It’s working well and I’m glad we’re doing it this way, and he’s definitely getting better at them (thankfully!) Slap the skin first to desensitise it a bit, and inject slowly, if it’s straight from the fridge and you push it fast it will sting like billy oh. And give yourself a post injection treat, some yummy fruit or something as a reward
