Finally got our viability scan today. So much relief seeing that little heart flickering away. Measuring 10.9mm and 2 days later than previously thought at 7+4. Best thing was seeing the smile of relief on hubby's face Bleeding and clots turned out to be some extra mucus on the lining but no where near our little blob. Good yolk sac and amniotic sac visible. We are diagnosed as unexplained but I do have some blood issues which may have been the problem or implantation but no one's really sure. We are so grateful and hopefully this post will bring hope to others and I hope this little one continues to stick around. We are so fortunate for it to have worked 1st time and I hope and pray all of you going through this get your own little miracles. To go through it once is hard any more times just makes you absolute warriors xx

Yes! Such a relief i've been given enough clexane and pesssaries for up to 12 weeks and then the antenatal team will decide if I need anymore. Hope you're feeling well xx

Great news ! I hope this is what I see next tuesday on my scan. I’ll be 7w4d It’s been a long time coming and still doesn’t seem real. (Apart from the symptoms) bleugh x
Aww i came on this morning just to see if there was an update from you! Amazing so pleased, i also went for a scan yesterday however im on 6weeks today, called me in early due to the bleeding, they could see yolk sak etc and said its a viable pregnacy going back next week for my 7 week scan to hopefully see more! Congratulations xx
That's great! Seeing the little heartbeat is wonderful. Hope yours goes well. We had a qualified nurse who was training to do scanning on ours along with someone who was qualified to show her the ropes. Took her a little time to find things at first which scared us a little bit but once she found it everything was fine. They said my bleeding was due to some extra mucus on the lining causing irritation as I had a couple of clots but they wouldn't give me an early scan. Fortunately it's nowhere near little blob and has stopped now. Roll on for the 12 week scan
