Sensitive Post - hopefully spreading a little hope

So I haven’t been on here for a while but 4 years ago when I first started IVF this group was such a support to me. After 10 transfers of 12 embryos with only an early miscarriage to show for it I struggled to continue to share my story as it just felt like it would never happen. More and more women got their BFPs and I was so happy for them but wondered if it would ever be our turn. Well today we had our 12 week scan and although it’s still early days all is looking good. I just wanted to reach out to those going through repeat implantation failure to let you know not to give up hope but also we changed clinic and did this final round so differently. I also just wanted to update anyone who is still on here who has offered me support over the last few years it truly is so so appreciated x

Congratulations!!! You are so strong going through so many transfers. I really hope everything goes smoothly for you for here on, you deserve it! Can I ask what you did for your successful round? My 4th transfer is booked for Wednesday and I’ve added steroids and Lubion x

Thanks, I think the main thing was a new clinic who seem to specialise in recurrent implantation failure and immune issues, feel free to message me if you want to know anymore about it x

That’s amazing! Congratulations! We are in a similar situation. Immune issues and have had 12 embryo transfers of 15 embryos over the past 2 years. 3 chemical pregnancies. It’s exhausting. But thank you for giving me hope. Would you mind sharing your protocol of your successful transfer. Thanks 😊

Exhausting is exactly the way to describe it, I moved clinics to one that specialises in recurrent implantation failures and immune issues, they also have brilliant success rates. Feel free to drop me a message if you want to know more x

I was on here about 4 years ago and we also had a failed IVF cycle - we now have a 3 year old who was conceived a month after our failed cycle.
