Hi ladies, I have dreamt of making this post for many years now, I know how hard it is to go through All the stages of this journey. And can finally say that my beautiful little baby boy arrived in October.
It has been a journey after having ivf which my body struggled with 4 years ago, Moving then to Having surgery, starting Clomid but I had further complications due to Clomid thining my lining… And finally then being given letrozole….
The month I conceived I was taking Letrozole. I was told my lining was going to be too thin for any chance of falling pregnant going from 7.8 pre ovulation to 5.6 after ovulation. However this little miracle proved them all wrong… Please never give up hope💙😊 xx

Beautiful baby, congratulations am so happy you got your happy ending. I am so starting letrozole 2.5mg 2 in the morning 1 in the evening starting day 2 of my period I hope this works for me too as I just had my egg retrieval last week only 2 eggs retrieved 1 fertilised but got a call on day 5 that the Embrayo was not good enough to transfer so had a follow up appointment with the doctor and he is going to try letrozole to see if I can get more eggs this was my 6th egg retrieval going for the 7th I have AMH of .045 which is very very low hope this works for me
I did letrozole, With just a follicle tracking, as my body reacted so poorly to IVF, I also took vitamins DHEA, Progesterone pessaries, and raspberry leaf tea to help with my lining. Maybe give these a try, as seems to have helped me 👍🏼
Thank you so much for your reply, we are going to you letrozole 2.5mg with another drugs I will know what type of drugs that will be tomorrow at my first echo to start a new egg retrieval
I was on it for 3 months & after being told they didn’t think it would work that month I took progesterone from day 20 as I thought it may help my lining. I took raspberry leaf tea too & that month my baby was conceived 💙 x
Ah wow congratulations! What a little cutie!!Definitely gives some hope - thank you.
I’m a fellow low-amh’er (1.2 PMOL / 0.16 NMOL) and after having 3 months on Letrozole, endo surgery, repositioning of left ovary, and all of the dye and scans under the sun, I am on month two of a Clomid and Letrozole combination (7 day stim). Only currently having 1 scan pre-ovulation and lining is averaging 7.8mm - hoping that I don’t thin out! Had 4 mature follicles on my last scan, although 2 of them were 24mm. Been TTC for 2 years and sick of seeing blank P tests!
I am in the middle of the TWW and feel no change. I have hope, buts it’s slowly fading 😢 So your post was very timely hun x
Enjoy your little miracle there and all the best x
Hi I hope my journey does give you Hope… One thing I had when I was having follicle tracking and taking letrozole Was Progesterone pessaries, Also took DHEA And was recommended raspberry leaf tea. May be a coincidence but the one month I took raspberry leaf tea was the month I fell pregnant. Maybe give this a try too. Trust me I know exactly how it feels with the tests….. I try to believe in myself, Even after being told my lining was too thin, And that I would need donor eggs for Any further support.
hi! thank you so much for sharing this. I relate so much to this. I have low amh, poor responder to ivf meds. tried clomid and it did work, but my lining was thin and had chemical miscarriage. Trying letrezole with IVF in March, this has gave me a little hope x congratulations x
