Follicles how many is wnough

Hi there

Went in for my second scan today I’m on day 10 of stims

I’m quite disappointed I have 6 on one side and 3 on the other biggest one being 20mm and my lining is 10mm

Nurses not really gave much feedback on this except that it’s fine was just wondering what other people had and what my success rates are with only having 9 follicles xx

I only had 2 big follicles and one ok one and we got 7 eggs. Three lasted until day 5 and we got a BFP but went onto have a miscarriage but had another BFP and got a 5 month old girl.

I had 7 follicles that were large enough come egg collection (maybe another 4 that weren’t big enough by were lurking about) We got 9 eggs out of the big ones, 4 fertilised, 3 made it to 5 day blastos. The first fresh transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy but I’m now currently pregnant from a natural transfer of one of the two Frosties. I was worried about the amount of follies I had but the nurse said “it’s the egg quality that matters” and I share that with you too! Best of luck! X

Sounds like a good number! My clinic said 10 to 15 is what they aim for, so 9 is not bad at all. I had 7, got 6 eggs, 3 fertilised, 2 transferred on day 2 and got my BFP. Now 20 weeks xx

I had 9 and got 8 eggs. It's quality not quantity if you get too many you're in danger of the quality being reduced and having ohss xx
