I’m wondering if anyone has sought treatment in India and how it went? I am seriously considering donor eggs and am considering India because I am of Indian ethnicity and because it’s much cheaper there. Just wondered if anyone has experienced this?

I dont know about donor transfers... but a colleague of mine went to india for ivf... they said clinic was amazing and they were blessed with a lil girl xxx
I did a bit of digging while researching for donor egg conception on reproductive tourism and wouldn't really consider India no matter how cheap treatment they offer as a part of medical or reproductive tourism. 154 in global healthcare ranking can be anything but promising. I know a lot of people go there for knee transplants, reconstruction and sort of things that are immensely expensive in developed countries, so only if your survival depends on it and there's no way you can afford it in countries with top ranks you should risk it.
If you follow the news and updated on medical advancements and statistics of their own population in terms of medical treatment you'll have a panic attack.
I’m indian too but what I did last year was donate 8 of my eggs . I’m sure you can get egg doners here or is it just the cost that’s not working for you. I will be resuming my own IVF before the end of the year. Sorry if I haven’t helped but good luck with everything x
I wish I could donate again but it’s so unfortunate that they have a cut off age of 35/36. I turned 36 in October so I can’t donate again but I have be openly talking to a lot of my friends who are interested about it. Who knows they might be new donors in the near future. I’m not sure which fertility clinic you are with but the one that I was with were able to contact different fertility clinics to ask if there was a recipient who was interested in my eggs x
Hi there, I hope you are doing good. So, I have no idea how things are in India. I mean I don't a first-hand experience. I have read about it though. I have heard it is good. It is cheap in Europe too. I am in the middle of the process. I am going for IVF too. I am waiting for my appointment. Though I was wondering if you are going for IVF too? Does India allow outsiders? Like you can go because you have the ethnicity. Can I go too? I want my options to be vast. Thanks in advance.
Anyone can go for treatment in India. Ethnicity is not a problem. Any clinic anywhere will treat anyone.....for a cost. The only reason I am considering India is because it’s cheap and my husband thinks we should use donor eggs that are from Indian ethnicity because the baby will look like us. I don’t care about this though. I just want a baby to love.
