Testing 1 week into 2ww and got BFN

So I know I’m stupid and have tested way too early. Had my embryo transfer last Wednesday about half 1, so first of all is today day 7 or 8? It was negative, do you think it could change? anyone had negative results at this stage than have then gone on to be positive? 😣

This is why we aren’t supposed to test early! But I understand so much the want to. Have had to hide all the tests I have! Even the clear blue sensitive ones can only detect hcg 5 days before period due date, so, that would be Friday. So yes too early! Don’t give up yet! X

Thank you. I wasn’t going to do one and surprisingly it was my husbands idea. It was a really cheap Morrisons 2 for £3 one 😬x

I tested early last time to prepare myself psychologically for a negative on the day... totally get it. Hold tight for Tuesday! Good luck!! Xxx

The day of transfer doesn’t count as day one. Day one is the day after. So that would be 1dp 5dt or 1dp 3dt depending on whether you had a day five or day three transfer. So yes, it’s really early for a positive. Try to hold off until otd and good luck xx

Hi Sarah wishing you the very best of luck!!! If you test, don’t test until at least 6 or 7 days post day 5 transfer and if you do use a first response early detector...v sensitive and shows up tiniest amounts of hcg xx

I tested today (7days) and it was negative 😢but it was a really cheapo test. X

Those ones are rubbish and always negative for me. Try a first response early detector in 2 days first urine of the morn! I shouldn’t be telling you to test early but I could never wait!! If you’re doing it I want you to do it properly. All fingers crossed 🙏🏼🤞🏼Xxx

I did exactly the same

And tested early twice on day 6 and day 8 got twoBFns, so was convinced it had not worked then on test day for a BFP - no word of a lie I promise! Pls don’t despair just yet! Everything crossed for you! Xxxxx

On my last cycle like you I tested early (in the first week) and got a negative result, kept testing and a positive result showed around day 11or 12 of the 2ww, i know it's hard but my advise is try and wait for your tests at the hospital.
