This morning I did the pregnancy test, 1 day early 13dp day 3 et. Unfortunately it was negative, not even a second faint line just a 1 solid line and on the clearblue it said “not pregnant”.
The official test day is tomorrow but I am already disheartened. My husband is staying positive and saying that we tested 1 day early.
Should I just put my mind and heart at rest? Anyone had similar experiences then a positive after?
thank you xxx

Sadly I had the exact same experience a week ago. My partner was also very hopeful but unless there is a second faint line by now, im sorry to say but I doubt you’ll have a strong line tomorrow.
It’s such a difficult journey and we have to keep up hope sometimes. However I felt better my allowing myself to digest this information and treat myself (I treated myself to tiramisu and a small glass of wine!)
I hope your ok and pop me a message if you want to chat/vent x x
I am so sorry to hear about your negative too… I am sure mine will be confirmed again tomorrow. I have been trying to hold my tears all day to stay positive for my husband, I hate crying. I think tomorrow a good cry, followed by dessert and wine will be needed 🥹
Was it your first cycle too? What are you planning to do next? Xx
A good cry is always a good thing! That’s something me and my partner definitely did. But it also allowed us to get into ‘right what’s next’ mode. We also booked a night away, we were going to go away in October but are putting the holiday money towards further tests- oh the joy! But booked in a couple night away next week as we felt we needed something to look forward to, to keep us going after a rough time! Would definitely recommend giving yourself a break/something to look forward too. This was our first cycle too, just waiting for our consultation to discuss our next round and what we can do differently/what else to try or test for.
How did you find your first cycle? Do you think you will have another round? X
Tested again this morning and unfortunately another BFN. My clinic is closed today as it’s BH so I will have to call tomorrow, I don’t know whether to just stop the medication today as there is no point. Unfortunately we only had one go with the nhs clinic so now I am going to have to do a lot of research into private clinics and think about a plan B. I am so lost. X
I am really sorry to hear about your BFN. I went through this two weeks ago with three BFNs. I tested early, then on OTD and then three days later. For what it's worth, after the BFN on OTD my clinic told me to keep taking my medication and retest in three days because things are widely variable in the early days. Also, make sure to test with a FRER test too, which is over three times more sensitive than the ones my clinic gave me.
Oh im so sorry lovely 🥺My clinic told me to keep taking any meds I was on and test again 3 days later, let them know outcome (mine was obv negative) so they then suggested to stop taking meds after that. They also request i test 4 days later just as precautions, I think it covers their back just incase.
Is your current clinic a NHS clinic or do they do private aswell? (Mine is combined) so just wondering if you could use same clinic if you feel they were helpful?
Take time to pamper yourself and time with your partner. Your very strong and will get that lil bubba someday soon💕🤞
I might take the medication until tomorrow when they reopen but I am also getting my period so I don’t think there is any point after that. The nhs were awful tbh so I would not stay with them, I am thinking about going abroad but we’ll see xx
Thank you for being brutally honest… sometimes it’s just as important as being positive. If a miracle happens overnight then I will be happy to be wrong. 😪
