So... last month I started taking the estrogen tablets for a FET but it got cancelled because my thyroid bloods came back too high. Anyway I took the estrogen for 4 days before the cycle got cancelled. This month my bloods are ok but AF is late. Currently 3 days. Any advice?? Is this normal since I took 4 days of estrogen tablets?? I’m normally regular as a clock so thought I’d get some input.
Thanks folks.

Weird. Guessing clinic didn’t mention anything? I guess it could delay things but it does seem a short period to delay it for. Typical AF. Appears when we don’t want it and not a sign of it when we do! 🙄🙄🙄 x
I have no idea if estrogen tablets can alter periods sorry.
Is there a chance you have conceived? Have you taken a pregnancy test? (Sorry if this seems an insensitive question.)
I’d phone your clinic for advice xoxo
Hi there... ehm, hard to say. Unfortunately in my case the estrogen messed up my periods badly, but I hear it does not happen to everyone. I was also 43 (44 now) and possibly perimenopausal, so my system was not very 'stable' anyway... I hope AF comes soon!! Good luck and very best wishes xxx
Hi Maikai. Hopefully nothing to worry about. However, you have had two hormones regulated, so it could delay things while your body is getting used to them. Fingers crossed it's just around the corner! Good luck! Diane
I know exactly how you feel!!! I was on progynova and lining wasn’t thick enough. Was taking it for nearly 3 weeks! So had to stop and start again on a higher dose and I’m still waiting...my clinic said that my body will be all over the place with all the hormones so I’ve decided to wait til next cycle and if no success they will induce a period. The one time u want one and it doesn’t arrive! 😡
