Hi Destiny, I think it depends on where the adhesions are? If inside the uterus this could have an impact, but if outside, this should be ok.

Its not in uterus... around fallopian tubes where had surgery... i had a lap and tht came back as normal cavity xx

Hi destiny121? I see you mention adhesions around your tubes. If they are preventing excess natural lubrication from spilling into the pelvic area, it might leak into the womb. This is believed to prevent a developing embryo from implanting, and so they are often clipped or removedbefore IVF. I would discuss their condition fully with your specialist. Good luck! Diane

I have lots of adhesions and scarring from stage 4 endo. My left Fallopian tube was clipped partly because it had become so flimsy due to all the adhesions but I have just become pregnant for the first time after my third frozen embryo transfer so there is hope! Good luck! xxx

Didn’t affect me. My whole reason for ivf is blocked tubes due to infection and adhesion damage. I’ve had about 4 laps done, one tube removed. They mentioned getting my other tube clipped which I was really against having done as I still get pain on the side I had the most issues. My remaining tube is totally blocked but they said it wasn’t too swollen so agreed to go ahead with IVF and I was extremely lucky to be successful on the first go. Good luck xx

Thats so lovely... congratulations.... hopefully i get my bfp this time around xx

Hi Destiny, I've had one fallopian tube removed entirely and the other clipped. I had adhesions in my uterus and severely scarred tubes. I was advised to have them removed as it would give me the best chance of success with IVF. Although I've not managed to have a successful pregnancy yet, I'm due to have collection later this week and am hopeful that we'll get there one day. Good luck.xx
