Egg collection...that was eventful!

All done - they collected 19 eggs which explains why I was feeling so uncomfortable before.

As soon as I opened my eyes when I woke up I burst into tears (no idea why...I think I was very confused and was in quite a bit of pain).

Then got a taxi home...as soon as I got out of the taxi I projectile vomited onto the pavement outside our house! Has anyone else had this??

Still pretty uncomfortable but feeling a bit better now.

Tell me I’m not the only one to make a big song and dance over it??

Wow those numbers are fantastic! I was ok after egg collection but there was a girl who was pretty groggy and sick afterwards. It may just be a reaction to the sedation drugs, its pretty strong stuff they out you on. Rest and take it easy! Good luck for the call tomorrow!xx

Thanks, am steeling myself for a low fertilisation rate as I know a lot of eggs doesn’t always equal a good thing! Fingers crossed though xx

Did you have general anaesthetic? I had it for a D and C last April and it made me very sick too. Hope you feel better soon. Ps, well done on the numbers xx

Woo hoo! Great number. I wasn't sick but I didn't feel great when I got home, especially if I was upright. Plenty of fluids and try to sleep it off if you can xc

I’m not sure what anaesthetic they gave me. They told me they were just giving me sedation to relax me, and the next thing I knew I woke up in recovery! Just tried to have some toast...that was a big mistake! Thanks for all the best wishes, trying to rest up! X

Those numbers are great. Fingers crossed a good number fertilise. I did similar to you, but was still in the hospital. I went for the mandatory wee, stood up off the toilet to wash my hands then promptly fainted on the toilet floor for a few sexonds. When I came round I threw up too. The joy of egg collection huh! Hope you’re feeling better today.
