Hi

I’m currently 4 day’s post 5 day transfer and really suffering with hay fever.

I haven’t taken anything as concerned with the risk. Are there any safe options that won’t risk anything ?

You could try a nasal rinse. Pretty effective for some people, it washes out the stuff which you are reacting to. boots.com/neilmed-sinus-rin...

If the nasal rinse doesn’t work you could ask your GP for cyclizine. It’s an anti histamine but is one of the drugs given to pregnant women with nausea and vomiting to help ease it. It’s safe but not double blind tested etc so they still ask you to use it for the shortest amount of time and on the lowest dose possible. I needed it from 5 weeks to 15 weeks to be functional!

Thanks very much x

Cetirizine and chlorphenamine are used in pregnancy. Both available over the counter. Look at the bumps website which talks through the medication risks and you can make your mind up. X
