Hi all, hope everyone is doing ok. I'm in the start of my tww and already over thinking :/ Ive been feeling very crappy, extremely bloated, crampy and like I'm coming down with a cold. Has anyone else experienced this? It feels like pms symptoms but it's so early on. Should i be getting any hormone levels tested? Could the cold like symptoms be some kind of immune response?
Thank you x

I did test and it is a BFP. Hope it goes well this time as I have had a few miscarriages in the past. The cold symptoms are still here... I don't understand what's going on but I will not question it much. I got what I wanted at this stage.
Wishing you the best of luck. Hope you will get your BFP soon ❤️
Hi, I had the same during natural pregnancy and it’s usually normal to feel like a little bit catching a cold as the immune system needs to slow down to allow the embryo to grow.
But may I ask you, did you have your previous embryos that you miscarried tested For PGT-A test? Im going through the fertility treatment for the past few months and my clinic insisted that all my embryos should be PGT-A tested to avoid miscarriages. I had some doubts about it, but agreed eventually and for now two out of three embryos contained chromosomes issues and were not recommended for transfer;(
Hi there, thanks for the response 😉No I haven't had any embryos tested so far. If this one fails, then we would proceed with testing if we have any embryos from a new cycle.
Given my history, I would want to have a new transfer knowing that it has greater chances of ending in a baby in arms as the losses have been brutal.
This time we decided to proceed without as there was a waiting time for an approval for pgta (Greece rules) which is currently a few months. We have applied for approval though and we will use it next time.
Sorry to hear that you didn't get the result that you wanted. Hope you get your BFP soon with your suitable for transfer embryo.
So sorry to hear about your miscarriages, I've been there and it truly changes you. You've been through a lot and you deserve this, I pray all continues to go well for you 🙏
Thank you for the well wishes , this is my 11th transfer, never gets any easier. Hope its the lucky one too! Xx
I’m in the waiting room waiting for my 11th FET today too. We haven’t pgta tested our embryo babies as cost was too high. Our clinic have really pushed it & also a double transfer but just can’t risk twins (couldn’t afford nursery for 2 if we were lucky enough for them to both work). I feel like everyone (including my husband) thinks this will fail before I’ve even had it transferred. I’m going to keep very positive & I hope you manage onto do this too xx
Thank you so much, I'm wishing you all the very best for your transfer today 🙏 You're doing amazing keeping positive, Im trying but I've had my moments with these symptoms im feeling, it's my partner who keeps me in line. The doctor who did my transfer said for now you're pregnant until proven otherwise which was a nice note to go home on.
They did offer me a double and I kind of wish I did it now, as they pgta tested my only other embryo (this was a fresh transfer) when I didnt want to, so now I'm afraid of the outcome. I've never tested before this one either.
Sending you all the positive vibes and a smooth transfer and 2ww xx
The TWW can be so tough, and it's completely normal to overthink everything. Bloating, cramping, and even cold-like symptoms can happen, and they can feel a lot like PMS. It’s tricky because these signs can be from the hormones or even from the process itself. As for testing, it’s always a good idea to check in with your clinic, but try not to stress too much. Sending you positive vibes! xx
Thank you so much, I've been down this road so many times I should be used to it by now. My last few transfers have been similar so my mind is overthinking, i cant help but wonder if theres something else going on. Sending positive vibes to you too ✨️ xx
Hi Rcs11, I'm doing ok thanks for checking in, I was wondering how you went 😊
My symptoms have not changed if anything my colds gotten worse, not fun. I've stayed off google and think I've been relatively calm and positive as much as possible.
hiya, I’m 7 days post transfer now. Some spotting & negative test today (which turned into an Evap line I think- just to torture me) but will re-test tomoz. I’ll attach a pic, see what you think? When is your test day? Xx
I do see a faint line 🤞 it progresses. I'd probably re test too. When is your official test date?Mine was Wednesday but I did hpt on Monday and it was negative so it wasn't a shock when I got the call.
