My 3rd FET is planned for Friday 6th Jan and I am already going into over drive. Can I have a bath with a bath bomb the night before the transfer? I'll obviously shower again in the morning with my non-scented shower gel etc but I don't want to risk anything.
Also any other tips for the day / night before would be appreciated!
Thank you x

bath is fine before transfer but not after (maybe don’t use a bath bomb to be sure no scents for the room, I believe it is to make sure doesn’t harm the embryo sterile setting) you don’t really need to do anything for transfer prep or afterwards and they normally just tell you to go about your normal business but avoid things you would do if pregnant (alcohol, heavy lifting etc) I always do the McDonald’s fries but that’s superstition (and greed 😂) rather than actual advice lol good luck and my biggest piece of advice would be to relax (your mind) as much as you can before and after treat yourself you deserve it 🤗xx
That's what made me think twice about the bath bomb because I'm anxious enough about using even Deodorant on the day 😂😂. Thank you for your advice! I've re-subscribed to Kindle Books so plan on reading my way through the next two weeks to keep my mind busy... Even though I'm not sure it will work 🤔 xx
sounds like a lovely plan 💜 the bath bomb is probably fine but now it’s in your head you would be as well not doing it so you don’t start to worry about it if you know what I mean! We’ve enough to worry about ☺️ xx
Hi Jade, I'm not sure about this one. A bath will be absolutely fine the night before, but I'd maybe be just a bit wary of a bath bomb if heavily perfumed. Just to ensure no strong scents remain on your skin for your transfer. That might be being too cautious, but if you have a plain bath gel or similar I'd maybe go for that, just to be on the safe side. Wishing you lots of luck! Remember nice warm fluffy socks after your transfer 👍 and those fries, obviously 😆xx
Thank you, think I'll stick with the advice everyone has given so go ahead with the bath but leave the bath bomb! My partner bought me some fluffy socks for Christmas but we are just about to go shopping now so think I'll pick up some more and some new comfy pj's to! Thank you for taking the time to reply, your well wishes and for your advice! 🥰
Nice relaxing bath - as previous post say best not to use bath bomb or anything strong smelling Maybe your favourite meal and then just chill out with your OH
