? Blocked tube

Hi all I had a scan a few years ago that showed I query had a blocked Fallopian tube or this could have been a spasm when they inserted the dye. Could this effect ivf? Apparently the other tube is fine I’m due to start icsi soon x

I had a blocked tube and was told it doesn’t affect your chances of conceiving or chances of ivf, so try not to worry too much. Having one tube is still good good luck xx

The specialist said to me it wud do more harm then good to unblock it as wud end up with scars x thank you

They didn’t say to me if it was 100% blocked just worried how they’ll do egg collection x

They can still do egg collection, you will have injections to stimulate your follicles, you’ll have scans to monitor how big they’re getting and once they’re ready you’ll go in for collection. Xx

Hi I've got a blocked tube, I was told by the consultant at the hospital that I could have an operation to try and unblock it but may not work, but could still get pregnant with 1 tube, Chances are just lower.. so we went straight for ivf.. and im now nearly 8 weeks pregnant, it feels like it's taken forever (year in total) but it's worked
