Hello all! I had a 5dt on Wednesday and otd is next Friday 18 at the clinic with a blood test. I really don’t like the idea of going there next Friday morning and getting bloods taken and given bad news. I’d rather to do a test at home in private. Do they usually give the results very quickly while you are there ? Also can anyone advise when I could start doing pregnancy tests? My trigger shot was on Wednesday 2nd May. Is there better pregnancy tests ?
Thanks for taking the time to read my really long message.

First response are the most sensitive ones but they're expensive if you want to start testing early. It's up to you when you do start but I think realistically you dont want to start testing too early as you may get a false positive from the trigger. Also you have to prepare for the fact you might start off getting negatives which can impact on you more that you realise which could turn out positive on test day or can go the other way which Im sure you know already. I tested early as I felt it would prepare me for the worst but this isnt great for everyone! Good luck.xx
Yes I agree - I have been testing early and it is a rollercoaster for your emotions.
But - my test is on Monday and I feel better prepared for the result.
I have stopped testing as I am sure it is negative - but my clinic said it isn't 100% sure until the blood test. So let's see! Happy to be surprised but prepared for a negative. 😊
Thank you for your reply. It’s such a difficult time with your emotions and not wanting to get too excited and then feeling bad in case negativity may impact the result. I’ve everything crossed for you this Monday. X
