My wife and I are 20 days pd5t. We tested (5 times!) at 11 days p5dt as suggested by the clinic and got a few faint lines, but did 2 digital tests that confirmed we were pregnant. Happy days! Now, a week and a bit on, with the wife nauseous all the time, sensitive to smells etc etc I had felt a bit alone- in terms of before, we were seeing the clinic every other day and having lots of intervention and then suddenly there’s nothing- I needed a bit of reassurance. So the wife bought a pregnancy test and did it with the first wee this morning.
She can’t see any additional line, but I can see a very faint one...
But now we are confused, upset, and unsure how to proceed... should we go and get a digital one that we can’t misread? Would we have to wait until tomorrow’s first wee to do that one or can we do it today? Or should we just leave it? We have a scan booked for 9 days time.... I don’t think we can hold out for that though....

Is it possible to get a blood test done at your gp surgery or clinic? I would phone the clinic and ask for their advice. Sorry you're going through this nerve wracking time and good luck.
Where is your scan booked? If it’s at your fertility clinic I would have thought they would still be available to you to give you advice. I agree with Scarlett13 that a hcg test is a good idea. Perhaps this is something your clinic or gp would do. Good luck xx
I would ask the clinic for a blood test. Explain your concern and I’m sure they would do one to reassure you both. This must feel very worrying. Good luck xx
Definitely get an HCG test done ASAP, the not knowing must be killing you, did your clinic not ask for one as soon as to told them you got a positive? X
Hi all and sorry I’ve been quiet.. just trying to get through the week!
We did a digital test and it came back as not pregnant..
We haven’t had a blood test- our clinic said that we just have to wait for our scan, which is tomorrow now.
Nervous doesn’t cut it, but keep trying to remind ourselves that what will be will be, and in 28 hours, we will know for sure- no chances of a false reading with a scan...
