Second attempt IVF with DE

Hi, new here.. on my second 2ww, first time just didn’t stick 😢 I’m now on day 9 with mild cramping and tender nipples. Trying so hard to stay positive and not think it’s the medication causing the symptoms... x

I had cramping and painful boobs on and off. So that's normal, unless you're in a lot of pain! I'm sure you're fine, but it's hard not to be anxious.

I got my BFP 😍😍😍 one week to early scan, can’t believe it! So happy but still anxious haha. How are you feeling?

Aww that's amazing news, congratulations!! 💙 I know how you feel, I was really anxious before my scan, but everything was fine.. A few days later and I'm back to being anxious again haha. Xx

Oh definitely.. It's exciting to finally be able to say "I'm pregnant" 😁 I'm just hoping that if I make it to 12 weeks, I can maybe start to relax lol. Have you got a scan booked in? 💙

I actually did my first POAS this morning just to check 🙄Yes next Friday.. I feel fine, boobs still a bit sensitive and odd twinge lower down and the tiredness.. but feel good.

When is your three months and are you feeling much? X

Ooh you don't have to wait to long for your first scan, how many weeks will you be?

I have been tired most days and feeling nauseated on and off, but no real strong symptoms and they come and go.

I have a midwife appointment weds and she will book me in for my 12 weeks scan, hopefully I don't have to wait too long for that, although already planning on getting a private one at about 10 weeks lol. I'll be 8 weeks on Monday. 😁

My clinic in Spain told me to have one two weeks after my blood test? A viability scan and to check for multiples I believe...

Mine are private scans so far as my GP is useless I can’t get appointments with them, thinking of changing to be honest?

Yeh my first one was at 7w+1day, some people have them at 6+ weeks. Perhaps you should phone them and book a midwife appointment now, maybe ask for the appointment to be after your scan next Friday. My clinic told me to do that when I went in for my scan. Just so you don't have to wait longer, probably a good idea to do it now, especially if they're a bit rubbish. You shouldn't need to see the doctor. Good luck xx

I spoke to the receptionist at the GP and explained my situation, she didn’t even offer me anything to do with midwife??? I think they don’t like if you treatment abroad ... grrrrr

I will move on from that doctors on Monday! Thanks for the advice 🤗x

Aww that's a shame. They can be useless sometimes. Shouldn't matter whether you've had it abroad or not, or even naturally, you're still pregnant!! The receptionist at my GPs said that they like to book the midwife appointment for when you're 6-8 weeks. Xx

Lots of symptoms that I weren’t sure whether they were the drugs or not. Keep positive and relaxed. That’s all you can be in charge of. Lots of luck x

I got a BFP & was 100% sure the cycle had failed. Swore blind my period would show up due to my cramps & put my sore boobs down to the progesterone. You never quite know til test day I guess 🙂 x

That’s great congratulations 🤗 Still trying to be positive! I’ve been ok hormonally till today.. and today I am a complete B^*•~ 😬 which makes me think period too 😢
