Hi everyone, so i am really new to this site and going slightly mad, I had a 5day blastocyst transferred 9 days ago, the progesterone pessaries are cruel as they are mimicking so many pregnancy symptoms, but i wanted to know if any of what i am feeling could be positive, my breasts are MASSIVE and sore, i am cramping and twinging all the time and i am soooo tired. but i know these are all side effects. Any advice or general guidance would be so appreciated, I am so anxious about testing the end of this week

Please wait until test day.... my boobs were massive.... twinges etc and it was a a bfn im afraid...as it was my first cycle i didnt quite know that the pessaries can mimic pregnancy symptoms.... i was convinced that i was but sadly bfn. Good luck xxx
I'm 10dp5dt and I've had all sorts and then nothing! My boobs have literally hurt since February when I started on the pill. And since the 2ww, they've been on and off, however, today they don't hurt at all. Not even my nipples! And they have been really painful. Ive had a dull ache in my lower belly, constantly. Then last night I felt like my period was on its way, my back ached, knee's ached and more crampy than usual. Today I'm fine!! I have felt really tired too... But then the pessaries could be the culprit.. It's so hard to know and really frustrating!
I did test from 6dp5dt and every day its been positive. Well done for not testing, I sometimes wish I hadn't.
Some people say they felt like they were getting their period and others said they had no symptoms!
This 2ww wait is torturous!!

Thank you for the comments so far it’s all really help full. The 2ww is driving me mad. I just cannot call it and don’t want to until Friday arghhh! As I said so cruel when you’re getting mimicking symptoms. Of course I hope it works but I’m dreading a fail it’s emotionally so much to take it and no one really understands unless they have been through it. Keeping my fingers toes and everything crossed !

I do feel your pain, I'm literally going crazy and I'm constantly googling everything!! So is your official test date 12 days after transfer? Mine is 14 days and I'm getting miffed at why some people are allowed to do it sooner lol. I want to ring them now!! I'm very impatient. 😁 And then some Negative Nancy at my husbands work is saying, oh it's still too soon, even though my egg collection was like 15/16 days ago!!
So I think it’ll be 13 days purely I think because the other day will fall on a Saturday. But I’m the same googling everything from my symptoms to what the embryo is doing at this stage lol. I need to prepare for the worst as I’m scared I’ll get my hopes up. It’s the most horrid but potentially beautiful time in your life.
Trying so hard not to over think all my little twinges. I’ve actually been quite headachy today and yesterday too grrr I don’t know 😏 only 3 more sleeps arghhhh x
Mine is supposed to be a Saturday too and there won't be anybody really to speak to. I'm really anxious all the time and I don't want to wait any longer. I might phone tomorrow lol. You never know.
I have been headachey too and burping loads and I never burp, unless I have something fizzy!
I hate wishing my life away, especially at my age, but I just want these days to go quickly!!
Hi MRSZC, ive done fresh IVF 5days blastocyst transfer-i have 3yrs old beautiful son from it, 1 FET-BFP but mmc, 2FET- BFN. Both FETs were 5days blastocyst transfer too. My BFPs results both were felt similar as for what i had as a symptoms. the night after transfer each time was burrowing sensation along with cramps and some bloating symptoms, the same symptoms were felt again for the next 2-3 nights they were nothing to worry about but enough to feel something is going on there, and this was roughly it, I taken those as a implementation symptoms. My fresh cycle I’ve tested 10dp5dt and strong line was there, my FET I’ve tested 6dpt5dt and the line faint one but visible clearly was already there. With BFN result for my 2FET I only was bloated for 5days and no burrowing sensation nothing then really bloated (perhaps progesterone made it I had high dosage of progesterone) and at 6dp5dt I’ve got BFN, and lost it even symptom of being bloated after that day and I knew instantly this cycle is bust and it was so it seems for me that in successful cycle I can be able to feel even implantation ....being veteran in this ivf road not always helps cos we know then too well from early days that something going to work...it’s very individual tough and what could’ve been symptom for me might not be the same for others. Wow you’ve had some great success then and clearly know how you feel. I’ve never been pregnant so this is so new to me like most going through ivf. I don’t want to jinx things but as I said I’ve had a lot of cramping and twinges. My breasts are tender but very swollen lol much to hubbys pleasure lol but I guess I’ll know for def Friday. X
I’ve had 7 ivf transfers and in my experience i always knew when it was going to be a bfn as I had absolutely no symptoms and I mean nothing at all. I will point out that my transfers never followed on from Stimms which will obviously carry on various symptoms. My only actual symptom with all my bfp fet’s have been sore boobs off and on. Pessaries alone have never given me any pregnancy or period type feelings xxx
I had a BFP last week. Almost no symptoms in the 2ww. The occasional cramp and odd boob twinge but my PMT is worse to be honest! You def can’t call it. Hang on til test day then you can be 100% certain of the result. Best of luck xxx
Some people have no symptoms and others have loads. The symptoms for bfp and bfn seem to be the same but still I would just take everything as a good sign. It is normal symptoms to come and go - and also normal to think you are going out of your mind and wondering if your mind is making you think you have symptoms when you don't.
Keep positive and stay strong. You can have some signs around day 7-9 which seem like period but can just simply be implantation.
Luckily at my clinic we test 10 days past 5 day transfer. I did hpt at 8dp5dt and got a bfp. However I only tested as I had some brown discharge so I was worried. In some ways getting the bfp helped take the pressure off the official test however in other ways it put more pressure on. In the end I had a really good hcg.
Hope it all works and you stay strong. Try to relax (everyone says that like it's something anyone can do ha ha) and keep fingers crossed for otd.
So I did my test this morning , it was negative I’m devastated! Care have advised me to carry on with the pessaries and re test Sunday but I’m sure it’ll be negative again.
My fear was seeing a negative as I have for the last few years of trying naturally but I still cried my eyes out.
We will go for round 2 but I feel I need a little break to emotionally deal with it. This sucks x
So sorry. Hope you take care of yourself and take some time to recover. Totally empathise as I had my bfn last Friday. Take as much time as you need, I know I will be having a break before considering a FET. Sending you big hugs. Be kind to yourself. Xx
