Argh! Potentially just messed up this month

I’m so frustrated! I’ve just spoken to my clinic and it turns out I took the wrong dose of clomid this month 😟 I was supposed to take 100mg and only took 50mg.

I got pregnant on 50 a couple of months ago but that didn’t last and I could have sworn the dr said at the time to stay on 50 as it worked. She also told me not to have a blood test as I ovulated late last time and then at my appointment asked me why I hadn’t done one.

So I’ve now got to wait another two weeks take another pregnancy test as my day 28 is negative, take provera and then up the clomid dose. What a waste of potentially 6 weeks!

Aww that is frustrating. However you could be pregnant still??

And if not then you also know 50 isn’t strong enough for you now. May help with future cycles.

I didn’t ovulate on any clomid!

Yeah last time I think I was testing negative on day 35 so started my provera didn’t have a period and found out I was pregnant after all. So I won’t discount it just yet.

Like you said at least I will know either way this time about the 50mg and know what I’m doing next month.

Ah that’s annoying you didn’t ovulate on clomid, how many tries did they give you before saying it wasn’t working? X

Oh wow @pregnant. That’s surprising!

I tried 3/4 cycles. 50&100. I told them it’s not working and consultant agreed to refer me for ivf.

Thankfully that took all the ovulating and fertilising bit out of the process.

Now I’ve just Gota try and get it to implant!
