Quick update on treatment

Hey everyone.

So last Thursday 12th April I had my second scan (apologies for my lateness in updating, have been busy being poorly with the medication! 😔). Progynova made me really nauseous and pressure headaches, was so bad the first week taking it, I wasn’t sick but had the feeling of wanting to be sick which is probably equeally as bad! But a small price to pay to make our dreams (fingers crossed) come true.

The nurse checked the lining and said it was mesuring 6mm but needed to be at 8mm ready for transfer, she said she would speak with the doctor/consultant to see what the best way forwards was. Long story short I’m now on 10mg of progynova instead of I believe was 8mg before, so I’m taking 5 progynova pills a day and have my next scan on 24th April.

My husband is due to give his semen sample that same week and our donors predicted egg collection date is also in the same week!

Fingers crossed I have progressed more on my next scan all ready for embryo transfer!!

It’s getting so close now. I’m excited, worried, scared all the emotions you could think, just hoping we get good news... 🤞🤞❤️💗

Best of luck. I struggle with my lining too. I’m on 4 progynova, vagifem and patches and still only got to a 6.6mm. Only just about managed 7mm on my monitored cycle. They have said that as the lining looks good they are happy to proceed. So waiting to find out find out if my transfers tomorrow or Saturday.

I have been seeing an acupuncturist who’s given me a list of blood nourishing foods and I’ve been eating things high in iron. Not sure it’s made that much difference!!!!
