After a Miscarriage last August at 10 weeks (the most difficult thing I ever gone though in my life, even as a cancer survivor!), am now entering my 39 week of pregnancy! What a difference a year makes... a year of happiness followed by sadness and disappointment ( and a lot of anger π‘π‘π‘)... then the motivation and strength to start a new chapter! My most successful egg collection ever with still 3 frozen embryos as back up! Never had frozen embryos before... After more meds, scans, blood tests, urine tests, thousands of pounds later etc I finally got a BFP just after Christmas... a bit of sadness in between as 1 out of the 2 embryos did not make it past the 9 weeks but my little fighter kept going! Strong and healthy... she is bigger than average at 90 percentile and right now am on my final few meters before my finish line π... now I just want my baby girl out to enjoy the caos in the house... all the pain, wait, money is worth it... and there is always hope... keep fighting and never give up!

Hey π a Big Fat congratulations! x
Thank you so much for sharing. Great positive news xx
Do you mind me asking what you did differently for so many follicles this time? I have never achieved more than 3...
Long protocol with higher dosage medications. Before I did short protocols or long protocols with minimum or medium dosage medications. First time I had Frosties π
Thank you for sharing. It's such a minefield! Xx
Some doctors donβt want to give you higher medications due to possible overstimulation or other complications so it helps that I do the job that I do because it means I have more knowledge of the products that they do specially when it comes to clinical trials. π
