All over...? 7dp3dt

Had a 3dt 7 days ago. I've got low AMH and high FSH but managed to get one embryo through mild ivf. It was a good one- Grade 2,7cell and when I got some light pink/brown discharge about 3/4days last transfer I thought things might be going our way. However, woke up this morning with AF cramps and some red blood. Seems to be getting heavier as the day goes on and just feeling numb at the moment. Is there anything I should do? I'm taking one 400mg cyclogest twice a day. Meant to have a blood next Monday but guessing there isn't much point now. Anyone else had this and still got their BFP? Really would be a miracle I guess. This is such a rubbish rubbish journey isn't it. Thanks for reading. Xxx

Hi Mannjj, blood can be worrisome. I would definitely contact your clinic. But I believe you should continue taking medication as prescribed until test day. There are plenty of women who have had bleeding and still went on to a bfp. I’m sending positive vibes your way xx

Thanks for taking the time to reply and I'll send my clinic an email. Im actually away on holiday at the moment (thought it'd be good to have a rest after the transfer!). Thanks again and keeping my fingers crossed xx

I had bleeding in my 2ww and was advised to keep going until test day. Unfortunately I didnt get a BFP but you should defo carry on with meds until test day as Ive seen others get BFP's after bleeding. My NHS clinic wasnt keen for me to up my meds but might be worth asking your clinic if you could up your progesterone to 1200mg?! Sending hugs xx

Hi I had bleeding 10dp5dt!! It was quite heavy with big ish clots!! I phoned the hospital and they told me to still test on day 11!! Big shock we tested and got a positive, I was then sent for bloods on day 11 & 13!! My day 11 bloods showed I was pregnant but then by day 13 it had gone to negative 😢!! Sadly we had a chemical pregnancy so I stopped all medications on that day!!

We go back for our follow up appointment in two weeks!!!

Thanks so much for replying Lisaworthy...but so sorry to hear that your BFP turned into a BFN. It's so incredibly tough isn't it. I emailed my consultant who told me to up my Cyclogest and see what the next 24hrs brings. Fingers crossed... and hoping for a miracle. Thanks again and good luck for your next try. Xx

Oh sorry to read this but anything is possible don’t give up hope yet! I see you already have a wee girl (me too, she’s 4 and would be a wonderful big sister). Have you read inconceivable? It’s a book about secondary infertility and the author has similar fsh results to what you describe, it’s quite an inspiring story . I’m not much of a bookworm bit would recommend it. Stay strong xx

Hanks for your message ClaraB...yes, my little one would be an amazing big sister and keeps asking me when we are going to get a real baby?
