We had a scare last week and our dreams were shattered today after hearing that at 9 weeks pregnant our babies heart had stopped. I'm not sure how much more we can take we are broken. Booked in on Tuesday for a D&C which I wasn't going to have but I just want to feel back to normal as this hurts knowing my baby has passed away inside of me. Thanks to all you amazing people xx

I’m so sorry!! I’ve just gone through the same - great heartbeat at 7wks - which was gone at 9+5!! I had no bleeding/cramping pain - nothing to suggest anything was wrong!! I had surgical management on Tue!! 💔

It truly is heartbreaking and I’m sorry you’re also having to go through this!! IVF is cruel enough without this as well!! Sending you lots of love & strength!! xx

They told us the same!! Altho it’s little consolation to you or I at the moment!!

Now the physical side is over we’re just trying to take one day at a time to try and get strength back!! I hope you’ll be able to do the same!! xx

I'm so sorry Hun. I've been there and it gets easier. I promise. I had the d&c and it was defo the right route for us. All my symptoms went away straightaway and I just had to deal with the slight bleeding. But for us, I just needed it to be over. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions xx

Oh im so so sorry to read this. I also had this in January. We went for our 12 week scan & baby had died at 9 weeks. I also chose d&c because I wanted it "over" quicker. Looking back now it was deff the right decision. I've had a natural mc previously too. With The d&c I only bled lightly after for 4x ish days & the pains were minimal. It meant i could concentrate on my mental well being sooner. I'm sorry your still having to wait a while for the surgery as i just wanted it done that day.

Thank you. Can I ask did you bleed before the D&C? Mines not til Tuesday with it being Easter weekend, I feel even more sad as the baby died the day after my dad did 13 yrs ago and I hate Easter even more. Xx

No I didn’t bleed before d&c. I had to wait over Xmas I was so sad!!! Such bad timing for your dad’s anniversary as well. I’m so sorry. Xxx

I'm very sorry to hear this, especially as Easter is already such a sad time for you. I had 2 mmc & D & C's .For me once the D & C's were done & the bleeding stopped I was slowly able to move on. Thinking of you xx
