Hey lovely ladies,

I can only wish i had better news to give you all but sadly yesterday was our scan on day 18th of cycle! Our 2 follicles...our 2 little hopes that had appeared on screen in previous scans had been kind of not so prominant and not grown bigger from a size of 11mm!😞our cycle seems to have been cancelled since we failed even to reach EC! The clinic would call us later today to make a consultation app with the doctor to discuss future possibilities! I would always be grateful for the support and love that you showed towards me during the whole thing!

Any suggestions might help as to how and what things we need to discuss with the doctor concerning treatment in our next app, which i am hopeing to be of some positive nature!

Was this a funded NHS cycle? if it is then try not to be too disheartened as cancelling before egg collection should give you another full cycle (thats what we were told) however we went ahead with ours but only got one egg (didnt fertilise). looking back I might have rather they cancelled to try and get more eggs/follies a second try of the drugs to see if I had a better response.

We have now decided to go down the egg donor route with another nhs cycle x

Blondy@I am taking treatment in Germany so dont know exactly how they would count a cycle here but wod defi discuss with my doctor once I am in consultation next time.

Thank you all for your support and feedback@tamtam,rach,button😘Update is that i have been asked over the phone yesterday, to take care of myself and along side take "cyclo prognova" thats the 21 days tabs to induce period! Then i see my doctor again in April!

Hi Hopeful2016. So sorry to read about your follicles failing to mature enough, and can understand your heartbreak and disappointment. Let's hope being on the cyclo-progenova gets your period back on track. I was just wondering if you would like me send you a list of questions to look through before you go back for your next consultation. There just may be one or two you hadn't thought of asking when you go. The list is too long to add here, but if you would like to email me in confidence to [e-mail] I will send them to you. Diane

Don't be too adverse to looking at a donor. I have had 4 fresh cycles 3 private and 1 NHS loads of eggs but none ever viable to freeze and despite blasts x2 and ICSI x 1 no BFP.

We have gone donor.

This journey sucks

I am sorry it failed, (at least try to) stay positive and do believe yr dreams come true. Yes I know, easy to say, but not so easy to do. xx
