17 weeks 6 days pregnant, leg pain

Can someone give some advice please ?

I get leg pain every single day from 17 th week of pregnancy , checked my iron and I was told it’s OK. What do I do ?? It’s so hard to sleep and can’t sleep well . Asked midwife and she says it’s normal and don’t stress. I don’t even walk much or do anything to make my body tired . I rest a lot but still no improvement with my leg pain . It’s because I have skinny leg and my tummy is growing???

Hi, I am about 13 weeks and getting aches and pains also. I think it's quite normal, as your midwife says. It's just the extra weight. I would say though I think doing a bit exercise every day would be better for you. A walk will stretch the muscles out and might help to ease the aches. Perhaps check with your midwife or gp first though as I don't know what risk level your pregnancy is. Hope it gets better soon x

o dear! congratulations. it is normal. if you feel pain in legs. actually, you feel the weight over your legs. your legs are skinny as well. that is why you think you are having pain. don't worry. take rest. it is common and don't need to think about this. but follow your routine checkups. it will help you a lot. best of luck.

Hi luv2017. Why don't you check with your GP and see whether he/she could sort out some physiotherapy for you to help ease the pain. Probably all down to the way your womb is developing and tugging on large ligaments. Good luck! Diane
