I did one last month only one egg, which did not fertilise correctly. Which was 14mm. I thought it was a bit on the small side.
On my second cycle - and it’s day 5 and they have already found 3 eggs - one which is 14mm and another which is 6mm and other Teeny tiny one.
I think the hormones must still be in my system from my former cycle?
Definitely explains 1) painful period 2) right ovary pain - was the egg growing. They even said today was my first day of Bemfola and now I need to take cerotide from tomorrow!
Anyone else had the same results? With back to back cycles? I am on natural modified, do kindly advise. Thanks!!

Hi Minchoo. Hopefully using the Cetrotide will help to boost your own hormones and prevent any early ovulation. I do wish you well with this and I shall be thinking of you. Diane
Oh apologies you threw me when you said my scan is on Monday too! I was thinking you were a nurse!! With patients do they normally have cycles back to back? Or do you advise time off between?
Hi Minchoo. No need to appologise. If you are having IUI then often they are done back to back. With IVF they usually like you to have a natural cycle after a failed one, before continuing again. Your specialist will advise you as to what they recommend, so don't worry, they will look after you, I'm sure. Diane
No unfortunately they didn’t advise anything. It’s natural modified. So I just dove in. I am thinking to have rest after this one. I think I have a lot hormones going around. Hence my eggs are already different sizes. I am bit annoyed with my clinic. They don’t seem to care. It’s all very transactional and uncaring. I have to chase them and they charged me twice for bloods and even they knew, they didn’t tell me about it. Until I brought it up once I was looking at the invoice in the lift on the way out! Once I brought it up - they then issued me a credit note. I was shocked. The other lady then said oh I knew she had charged twice. Which made me angry.
Hi. I think you mean follicles. If they are not big enough, then eggs can't get into them. Sorry to hear about the invoice! If you would like me to, I could email you a list of questions for you to look through before you see your specialist again. Can't add them here, but if you email me in confidence to support@fertilitynetworkuk.org I will send them to you. Diane
