Hi I was seeking a bit of advice. I am still losing the weight so we can access IVF but in the meantime my husband and I have decided to try a little harder (wishful thinking). The problem we have lies with him but I have been doing these ovulation tests and I get negative results. I’ve done them according to an app I’m using to track my periods. So do I A) have to test all month next cycle just in case or B) can you have you regular periods without actually ovulating?
Thank you

Yes you can have regular periods without ovulating but hopefully when you had your first checks then they should have checked this.
It’s more likely that you’re missing your surge. Try testing in the afternoons as well. Also, I would start testing from day 4. You can get cheap opks from the internet that have always worked for me.
Thank you! When I had my tests my bloods came bk negative but when they found out about my husband the only other one they did was to check my tubes were clear. They won’t do anything more until I’ve lost the weight. I’ll try more regularly next cycle and in the pm. Thank you x
Try the clearblue, quite expensive but may put your mind at rest. I usually started testing about day 9 and ovulate around day 16 but it dependS on your cycle. Sending you lots of baby dust!
