Cyclogest advice

I have my test tomorrow and my tiny mind has been running overtime with what ifs... one thing I didn’t ask the clinic was if it is positive do you keep taking the pessaries, same question if negative?! Does anyone know the answer- feel a bit silly calling the emergency mobile!! 😔🙄

If it's positive then keep the meds going. On my negatives I've been told to stop the cyclogest however it will do no harm to take it until you call with the result on Monday.xx

Do you have to phone your clinic with your result? They will probably tell you what they want you to do once you have given them the pregnancy test result.

My expirence was that with BFP I kept taking the pessarys but BFN I stopped them.

All clinics are different though so your better off checking with your own.

Good luck for tomorrow x

hi rose - if it’s a positive, you’ll keep taking progesterone for first 12 weeks (i think!) have you got enough?

wishing you all the luck in the world. sending love & positive vibes✨🤞🏻💕

If it’s positive keep taking them and if it’s negative we’re always told to stop all medication. Good luck xx

My clinic say if it’s a BFP keep taking. If it’s a BFN and you’ve started bleeding then you can stop meds but if it’s a BFN and you haven’t started bleeding then keep taking meds and test again in 3 days just in case it’s a very late implantation (though they acknowledge the chance of that is very slim). It’s your call as to whether or not you keep taking of a BFN. If it were me it would depend on whether your clinic is an early or late tester (my clinic test 13dp5dt but I know others say much earlier at 9dp5dt). Fingers crossed it’s a BFP!
