Abnormal pregnancy sac, it’s over 😔

It looks like our dream is over but I’ve got another week to find out.

My second blood test yesterday didn’t show enough of an increase in my HCG levels and the clinic were concerned that with the bleeding it could also be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy so I had to go in today for a scan.

The pregnancy sac is in my womb so not ectopic but it’s badly misshapen so they don’t think it’s viable. They have to do a second scan next Friday before they can officially declare the pregnancy over so I have another painful week of waiting knowing that this is most likely the end for us.

I’m devastated to lose another baby and after everything we’ve been through it seems so cruel.

I think I’ve been numb with shock this afternoon but now I can’t stop crying 😭 xx

So so sorry to hear that. I know what you mean about the numbness. One minute you’re functioning fine, then the grief comes and hits you like a tonne of bricks. I’m so sorry it’s turned out like this, you’re right, it is so cruel xxx

Oh my love I’m so so sorry to hear your loss, I know you’ve been here before. This journey can be so cruel at times, I don’t know why we are made to suffer like this been here myself last year. Oh how awful this is. I am really sorry to hear this. This happened to me too with one of my losses. Sad to hear you have to go through this. I totally get where you're coming from when you are talking about all the waiting for scans,blood tests etc. It is dreadful. It really makes it all worse.
