Hiya. Glad to be a new member of this community. I need a piece of advice. In a nutshell, I can’t carry a baby because of my heart condition and I spent years trying to find a surrogate who agrees to carry our baby. It is in fact turned out to be difficult and being in despair my hubby and I decided to go abroad where surrogacy, I mean commercial, is legal and well-regulated by law. We signed a contract and have been waiting for the best match since end of February. Which was fine, until one of my university friends offered her help. She is ready to be my surrogate and I only need to cover her medical and pregnancy related expenses. I don’t know what to do now. Basically, I can terminate the contract and start surrogacy with a woman I know and tend to trust…Or should I stick with the clinic and forget about her attractive offer. I find pros and cons in each option so need kind of a second opinion. What would you do?
Would love to hear from you x

Hey, I hope you are doing fine. I hope that you will be a mother soon. Well, both options are right but what if she betray you so what will you do. I think that you should think about it. The clinic promises a baby and there is no need to cheat the IPs. I hope that you will understand this. My best wishes are with you. I hope you will be a mother soon.
Hi, I hope you are fine. Well, it is never easy to face infertility. Infertility takes a lot out of a woman. A woman always wants to be a mother. But sometimes it is not in fate. I think you should find the best affordable clinic who provide you with the surrogate who will give you the baby. Don't trust anyone that easily. My best wishes are with you.
Hi sorry to hear you can’t carry a baby. Heart breaking.
I would continue with what you started. You have waited and you have something which is well regulated by law and abroad.
Not saying she would but your friend may have feelings for the baby. I know she may say she won’t but there is always a chance. There is a lot to consider - Has your friend got children of her own? Are you and your friend going to consider counselling if you do choose her?
