Finally, my journey has been started!

A short update on here!

I was at the clinic yesterday and finally signed my last contract. I had a donation package but due to the last two failures, I had a chance to switch to surrogacy. So, you can congratulate me, I have done it! My journey has officially been started. I have to wait for some time for my doctor will find a surrogate mother for me. They will check my requirements and availability of surrogates and after that, I will be notified if they have found one. Meanwhile, I need to find an egg donor. They have a huge database with approximately 500 donors so there are many women I can choose from))

Waiting time will be probably the hardest part of this((. Any ideas on how to go through it?))

So exciting for you!))) Is it easy for you to go through this stage? What are doing while waiting? Will you do any home tests or just decided to wait for hcg? I know that for someone it is the hardest part of a journey but I went through it quite well and didn't do a home test. I wanted to avoid false results so was patiently waiting for my blood test.

Oh gosh. It’s killing me! Period pain / ovulation pain? I’ve been cramping and sore boobs whole way through so no idea. I foolishly tested 6dp3dt and 7dp3dt. Both negative and made me feel the same so I held off testing today which made me feel a bit better. OTD is Monday which is also my first day back at school so a bit of a clusterf**k but whatever happens I’ll cope. We always do right? I’ve taken out over 20k gbp in loans to support all my treatments so after this I’ll not be able to afford to do again so... lot riding on this. But. What will he will be. We never know what’s just around the corner 😊 xx

Hi hun. How are you? Today is your OTD if I am not mistaken. How did it go? Have you already checked? What did it show? I can't stop praying for you! I really hope everything is alright and all your previous home tests were false and you are pregnant! Much looking forward to y our update on here!

Thank you so much! I hope that it won't take much time. I was told that it will take approximately several months as they need to find an available and healthy surrogate and donor and then, stimulate both of them. But you know, it worth it))

Thanks Olivia! I hope that this time everything will be alright and I will have my long-awaited baby. I have positive thoughts about that and I don't know why. It is probably a sort of inner-feeling. I wish you all the best in your journey. How are you, dear?

Thank you Coral. I have already found some possible donors for us. There are so many good and beautiful girls that it is very hard to decide who exactly you want to see as a donor. we passed this info to our coordinator so they are checking their availability. Of course, it won't be soon as there is at least a month ahead before they found a surrogate for us. It is so hard to wait((
