Feeling so worried spotting at 5wks 😳😪

After the initial elation of our BFP on Thursday I noticed some brown blood when I wiped this weekend. Then this afternoon there was some red blood when I went to the loo and I’ve had stomach cramps and pains in my cervix all day. I called the clinic and am going there first thing for a blood test but I’m just so worried that this isn’t a good sign, especially as I’ve miscarried before.

Can anyone share any reassuring stories of these symptoms ending well? Xxx

Hi sweetie, I had red followed by brown blood discharge for about 8-10 hours during the same time too, it happened twice for me as I am carrying twins, both was my implatation bleed... is it just when you wipe or is it transferring to the pad? What's the flow like? I know how worrying it can get, id say go into EPU to get seen as they will check you straight away rather than a GP although I do think all will be fine...

Try and stay calm I know it’s not easy. I had bleeding from week 3-8 never very much sometimes brown sometimes red. It worked out for me and I have a son now. I will be hoping and thinking of you that you get the same result xx

I had it and all was fine, it calmed down after a couple more weeks x
