Hi ladies, one more thing for today. On my first ivf cycled they found a fluid in one of my tubes on my scans preparing for egg collection...... if the other tube had fluid too would this have been detected then too? Or could they find it when doing a lap?? Im just trying to see whether its just the 1tube affected.

From what I understand (I've been through something similar recently), the fluid can move around so it may not have been present in the other tube on the day of your scan, if it was present, it would have been seen as it shows up on the scan.
I had fluid in my tubes on my 1st 2nd & 3rd scan but on the day of EC the fluid wasn't present.
I'm having another laparoscopy soon (I had one in Oct 2016 for something else) to clip my tubes so the fluid cannot come back.
Ahh thanks that does make plenty of sense.... the thing is i had surgery almost a year and half ago to drain the tubes and they managed to drain the fluid. So the fact its only in one tube now i was thinking maybe the other tube is now clear.... just not sure how possible this is 😬
