Had a 4bb 5 day blast put back today

Had a 4bb embryo put back today. Who was successful with a 4bb? Managed to freeze two 3bb’s too. I’m not feeling optimistic my ovaries are fluid filled they said to keep an eye on it. I’m concerned it will impact negatively on the blast implanting. Should I expect implantation bleeding? Xx

Good news so far! Fingers crossed for your ET!!

Here's my answer. You should definitely feel optimistic about the procedure :)

See, we passed 2 donor egg cycles. IVF#1 in April 2015. They transferred 1 grade 4AA embryo. Everything seemed just marvelous and everyone was expecting the best results. But we ended up with dreadful bfn!! Dr made some changes into treatment protocol. IVF#2 -- transferred 2 4BB. Believe or not, we got bfp on 6dp5dt!!

1st Beta 148.

2nd Beta- 315.

7wk 3d ultrasound - 1 heartbeat 138bpm, measuring 7wks 3ds.

My sweet son born via planned C-section. :)

All my positive thought going your way, honey! Have every bone in my body crossed xx

Thank you and congratulations!! I’m thinking about starting testing at 6dp5dt with the internet cheapie strips but I’m not sure how sensitive they are? Xx

Thanks! I saw the lines faint with cheapies, turning into darker ones each passing day :)

Did you experience any symptoms? Xx

Yep, you know those brown discharge and some pinkish spotting. Some cramps but not too bothering. I felt sth like itchy pain, not for long, seems around half and hour near my left ovary, but this shouldn't be taken into consideration to my mind. Well, what else..Probably from time to time headaches, but again those didn't get on me. No 'hunger' ladies often write about :) Seems all.

Xxx

I would say that a 4bb is pretty good! I know it's hard but try not to be too disheartened....you have a great chance and good frozen embryos too!! I think it's just down to luck if I'm honest!! Wishing you heaps of luck!!xx

I got a BPF with a 2bb, which is the same grade but a bit behind yours. Don’t know anything about the fluid but fingers crossed it’s ok. Sending you lots of luck xxx

I got a BFP with a day 6 4bb - currently 7+4. So there is definitely a chance for your little embie. Your ovaries shouldn’t impact implantation but sounds like might be at risk of OHSS which gets worse if you do get pregnant so would monitor yourself carefully for those symptoms.

Wishing you lots of luck hope the 2ww goes super quick for you and you get your happy ending 💖Xx

Hey! I thought I'd reply on your post so I didn't end up highjacking the other post! 😁 Thanks for the congratulations!

I had a grade 2:2 (1 being the highest) transferred which is different to your grade so I'm not sure how they compare. Is a B equvilent to a 2? I wouldn't worry too much about grades, they would only put back/ freeze the embryos they think stand a chance. You did well having 50% of your eggs for embryos - I got 13 and ended up with 3. 7 made it to blast but only 3 were good enough to transfer / freeze (all 2:2).

With regards to your latest post, the pessaries are likely to delay any bleeding /spotting so this isn't necessary a good indicator, however, some women do come on as normal. When is OTD? xx

Thanks for replying the scale was a b c so I think my embryo is the same grade as yours 🤞🏼🤞🏼. B being a 2. I’ve been desperate to connect to people with the same grade to see how they did.

How many days past transfer did you get your bfp? Clinic told me to test a week on Sunday, it’s my husbands birthday a week tomorrow.

Love hearing positive outcomes, women don’t always post there good news, so great as this forum is, you don’t always near the success stories.

When are you due? Xx

in reply toJhenderson

I hope you feel a bit more reassured in that case. I had to wait until 13dp5dt which was hard! It would be great of you could get a good result for your husband's birthday.

We definitely should hear the good stuff - ultimately we are all trying to achieve the same thing so if positive stories can give someone hope then they are worth mentioning.

I'm due on 2nd January though I was measuring 30th December. Anytime after 27th December will be fine with me! Xx
