Slow heart beat in 6 weeks but doubled HCG level compare to one week ago. Anybody has similar experience?

Hi, today I see the heart beat first time, but doctor said it is relatively slow (below 100). He said healthy pregnancy should be more than 120. He suggests me not to keep the baby. But my HCG level today ( 3940) has doubled compared to last week. However, I'm going back for second test this Friday to see how the pregnancy evolve.

Just wondering if anyone has similar experience that you can share?

I’m 6 weeks too and have been told the same 😟 today. I’m going for my second scan on Wednesday to double check.

Did they tell you how big the baby was?

No, they just said embryo still seem quite small, but I clearly see the heart beat like adults. However, I checked other source online, and you do see some people have drastic change in the heart beat. So, I will keep monitoring and get second opinion just in case.

God how heartbreaking for you, I don’t have any experience of this myself, but wanted to offer my support. I would definitely get another scan and even a different clinic’s opinion before you take any action. Where do you live? Xx
