Just been back to the consultant!! He obviously hadn’t had the info of chemical pregnancy passed onto him!!

We walked in and he said Oohh big day today, how many weeks pregnant are you......we both looked shocked and went on to explain!!!! He was then gutted for us, but has looked at it as a positive as I actually got pregnant!!

Now we have to wait two cycles before we can do the frozen transfer!!! Two months rest for now!!

I’ve to do ovulation tests to check when I ovulate to see if I can do a natural transfer or will need a medicated one!!

Xxxxx

Blimey Honey, that's a shame the information about your chemical pregnancy wasn't passed on to him! That would have upset me a little bit I think. I'm pleased to hear that your consultant said the fact you got pregnant is a positive sign & that you don't have to wait too long before your FET. Enjoy your rest & when the time comes I hope it all works out well & you get your much wanted baby 😘 xx

It was very upsetting, it took me a while to speak so my partner took over!!! He was gutted for us, and think he felt awful he didn’t no!!

Not sure why he didn’t no really but he does now!!

Thank you, we’ll enjoy our two months with no long trips to the hospital xxx

Great communications skills from the professionals there! But sounds like you’re taking a very positive outlook on it! x

Very good communication skills 🙈!! I’m sure he felt bad and he was so gutted for us!! He’s been with us all along our first journey and did our transfer too!!! He’s such a nice guy!!!

We’re a bit gutted we have to wait two cycles but guess my body needs that to get back to normal!!!

No the joys of ovulation testing 😳😳 xxx

It’ll pass quickly... I’m sure x

Oh sweetie I’m sorry it hadn’t been passed on ; that must have been very difficult. I’d been in tears. I can’t imagine anything worse than being congratulated for a pregnancy that was lost; I had some people here read an old post and congratulate me when I’d lost the baby truly awful face to face be even worse😭The EPU were supposed to inform my fertility specialist of the miscarriage; he knew I’d had bleeding and wanted to know how we got on. I wandered why he hadn’t got in touch and arranged a follow up appointment; it wasn’t like him blinking EPU didn’t inform him 🤦🏽‍♀️ it’s dreadful such information doesn’t get sent to departments.

It is good to wait to let things settle; it took my body about 2/3 months to start ovulating again. Your body has been through the ringer; it was geared up to have a baby and it needs to all settle down and emotionally it might be nice to have a break from it all ; plan lots of nice things to do together . It will soon be around before you know it xoxo

It’s awful isn’t it, obviously just a lack of communication!!!

I hoping my body is back on track already!! I knew yesterday I was ovulating so I took a test when I got home and I was right.... two lines!! So I’ll just keep tracking next month and then we’re good to go!! And hopefully we can do a natural transfer with no drugs needed xxx

That’s great you’re ovulating so soon afterwards. That’s fantastic news; it took me a few months. Are you going to try naturally in between waiting ? Sometimes you are more fertile after a loss 😏 xoxo

Yeah I was really pleased when it came back with two lines!! Do you no how long you should get a positive test for??? Or is it just one day!!

Yeah just going to carry on as normal 😉😉 till we go back.....like people say you just never no!! Xxx

in reply toLisaworthy1981

The window of opportunity will be today and tomorrow; if you baby dance both days you give yourselves the best chance 😘 Never say never! In it to win it I say 😏Perhaps with less stress and pressure it just might happen nothing to lose 😉 I wish you the best xoxo

Great thank you!! I’ll test again later and see what it says!! Nothing to loose 😛 and like you say, never say never!! Xxx thank you

in reply toLisaworthy1981

You’re most welcome. You don’t need to test again; once the Lh surge has been detected you’re good to go 😏 unless you are unsure of the result xoxo
