Hello all, and happy new year. I had an embryo transferred on 20/12/22; I went for a scan today, and four embryo was transferred due to the first failed transfer to give a chance. A transvaginal scan was done nothing was seen due to multiple fibroids, and my bladder was empty. Then a transabdominal scan was done still complained that the fibroid didn't allow her to see, but one yolk sac with a strong heartbeat was seen and recorded at six weeks and four days, but my clinic said today is six weeks. I refused to accept that only one, maybe the fibroids, was covering the other babies and hoped that at the next scan appointment, they would see other babies. This scan was done privately, and next is at the hospital. Please, I need advice and encouragement. Thank you.

I had 3 embryos transferred and only 1 stuck. Transferring 4 is no guarantee for multiples,it just sometimes may you a better chance of a pregnancy, be grateful one has stuck and pray he/she sticks around for the next 9 months.

congratulations! Clinics tend to transfer multiple embryos to give you a higher chance of implantation, not with the aim of a multiple pregnancy (although of course that can happen). We transferred a total of 9 embryos (not all together 🫠) and had 1 successful singleton pregnancy so these things do happen.

Thank you Sally. I just thinking what is going on. I am grateful for that and how hard the doctor and his team work, they are kind.

it’s sounds like you have one that is doing well and even a little ahead which is fab and great to see a heartbeat so early! I would count my blessings on that 🤗💜 congratulations and hope your little fighter embryo keeps growing well xx

Hello Twiglet2, how are you doing today? Thank you. I was thinking like that because I remembered that my period would start each time I had a scan. But I went to my GP today she gave me a referral to go to the hospital for another scan to see what is going. I said the first scan would not give full information because my bladder was empty. When they did the scan, it should be full. I will go tomorrow for the scan, but my breast is heavier. My clinic is not here in Cyprus because it is cheaper there, and the team are fantastic. 🤞XX

I had 3 transferred and have a beautiful 2 year old boy now . It could be that the strongest one stuck . I’d be happy with that . Some clinics inject several so you have a chance for a successful pregnancy x

Thank you. Oh that is awesome watching him growing gives joy. Yes I am happy because I can not do it on my own. Yes that is what doctor did to increase my chances. But yesterday afternoon I started bleeding but stopped with in 10 minutes by night no blood. I am praying let the little one keep going. XX
