Twinges after starting gonal f

Hey everyone, I started stimming with gonal f on Thursday and I'm due to take my cetrotide alongside from tomorrow. I'm only on day 3 but I have quite a few twinges and a bit of tenderness already. Is this normal? I'm at high risk of ohss and just wondering if I should be tender so early on. My scan isn't until Tuesday, any advice would be appreciated 😊

Good luck on your journey. Generally if the twinges are not bad enough for you to want to take a painkiller, you should be all good. I definitely remember funny sensations and a few twinges in my pelvis- I took it as a good sign that my ovaries were responding to the drugs! The clinics tend to start most people off on a lower dose and then see how you respond- also depends on your starting bloods etc. If you have any swelling of your stomach or nausea or shortness of breath then they’ll want you to visit a hospital. If you’re worried, it’s best to call the clinic. Good luck on your journey. Xx
