Cyclogest - safety blanket?

Hi all, I'm currently 15dp5dt (fresh). We had a positive blood result 4 days ago and I was told I didn't need to carry on with the cyclogest pessaries (1200mg/day) once I'd finished my course. I'll take the last one tomorrow.

We had a positive bloods last year but at the 6wk scan it was confirmed to be a chemical pregnancy and I was to stop the cyclogest immediately. They warned I would MC within a couple of days after stopping with the pessaries and I did, but at least I was as prepared as I could be. I'm on pins that this one could be a Chem preg too, only I won't know it till it's too late. I feel like I'm losing my safety net. Has anyone else been in this position? 😰 x

My clinic advise the same.... but I insisted I wanted to stay on it, argued that it won't do any harm to stay on it.... they agreed and kept me on it. Sadly it ended in miscarriage but I felt better staying on it xxxx

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you that time πŸ˜”. I think it would give me peace of mind if I was to carry on taking it for about longer. Thanks Sprinkles86 xx

I would agree. Ask them you want progesterone support for a while for your peace of mind.
