Tummy ache can hurt your embies?

Ive had intermittent tummy aches the day after my FET. Usually I don't get constipated but since my FET, i was constipated for days. After my fourth day post FET I finally was able to go to the bathroom. I have a feeling, the bloating or tummy pain was caused by constipation. Now my question is, can tummy ache hurt your embies?

Hiya, I’m not an expert but I don’t think these symptoms can do any harm even though you’re feeling sore and uncomfortable. I think your progesterone pessaries are probably to blame for your bloating and constipation. It’s not very nice 😖

I don’t think that it will affect your embryos. I really struggled with constipation on my last round - I think progesterone is the culprit, as it slows down your digestive tract. The things which helped me were staying hydrated (2-3 litres of water a day), prunes, dried apricots, orange juice, high fibre foods like lentils. Not too much vitamin C though as you’ll get a poorly stomach, just a good balance each day. Then a high fibre drink / sachet called Fybogel twice a day. Hope it eases off for you x

I had really bad stomach cramps (definitely tummy not period type cramps) a couple of days after ET followed by an awful trip to the toilet (sorry if TMI). I was really worried that it would impact my embie but it didn’t and I got my BFP so please try not to worry. Good luck with the 2ww!
