Prednisolone - painful tummy

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of Prednisolone side effects, and in particular anything that's helped with a painful stomach? I'm taking steroids for the first time this FET and was all prepared for side effects such as sleep disturbance and weight gain, but the thing that's really effecting me is how much it's irritating the lining of my stomach (it's really quite painful). I'm only ever taking the Pred after a proper breakfast, but not sure what else to do to help, any advice gratefully received.

Yes it is quite a common side effect. Always take after food. Some people are sometimes prescribed omeprazole or lansoprazole to help with this. Hope you get some relief soon, speak to your clinic.xx

IVFat40 You can get this product called Nexium from Asda, without prescription, a doctor told me this will help x
