EC tomorrow! Only 4 eggs :(

After such a positive baseline scan, I felt soo happy something was actually happening with having 20+ eggs.. Then i had my second scan and my eggs hadn't developed as well as they would have liked.. Another downer on the journey!

They increased my gonal f then rescanned on Monday instead of egg collection.. They did warn us our cycle would be deferred until the new year if no improvement... Thankfully the scan on Monday showed improvement and eggs had caught up, however, we only have 4 of good size

Egg collection is booked for tomorrow but I really need some positive vibes, four eggs, how many are likely to fertilise, everyone says quality over quantity, anyone experienced this before??

Please don’t worry . First round I got 16 and I ended up with one good blast and none to freeze . This time we got 7 - none from my right ovary at all as all follicles were empty . 4 fertilised and 3 have made it to blast . I’ve had one transferred and two put to freeze . It’s absolutely true that quality over quality so don’t worry : I was the same as you last week x x

I also had 4 eggs, 3 fertilised normally, 2 transferred and I got a BPF. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage and have one frostie to hopefully transfer either January or February. It’s defo quality that matters. Good luck 🤞 xx

Hi I did it two years ago I'm back for round 2!! I only had 4 eggs too but top quality did a 3 day transfer and got a beautiful little girl so amount really doesn't matter!! Good luck hunni xx
