I’ve had Acupunture 3/4 cycles and can honestly say it doesn’t hurt. The needles are really thin and my Acupuncturist doesn’t use many so once there in I forget there there. Wishing you lots of luck xx
I’ve had acupuncture quite a lot Over the past year in lead up to my ICSI cycle, I didn’t find it painful, a little uncomfortable at times but never experienced pain! I still can’t get used to someone putting needles in me as this still feels odd however you do forget once they’re in. If you get chance before your cycle starts and your clinic does it, I can totally recommend cupping... I found this very relaxing in the lead up to starting my cycle (its almost like a hot stone massage) looks awful but feels amazing! Xx
Occasionally mine does hurt a little but it really is a little, less than an injection or anything like that. And I usually feel amazing afterwards. I had a toxin drain as the first thing they did and I think it made a huge difference to my wellbeing.
Hey hun, I have had it done once a week since June, theirs no pain, its not uncomfortable nothing! The needles are so tiny and they only go in a little... you have nothing to worry about! lay there and relax and you'll prop fall asleep! I do every time!
I have mine in my forehead, behind the ears, feet legs and lower tummy, my other half has it too but they put them in diff as men fertility points are a slightly diff to ours
xx
I’ve had acupuncture for years, the needles are usually in my feet/legs hands/wrists. Sometimes one in my head or at the back of my neck. Occasionally they hurt, but not very often.
I had accupuncture in my last ICSI cycle. The only ones that ever hurt were ones going into my hands but even then it was just a twinge. There were only, at most, 6 needles used so don't worry about loads & loads of needles. Once they were in, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep everytime - it's very relaxing!! x
they'll put you at ease and explain what they are going to be doing so you should be fine.
Thank you all for your replies it has really helped me to relax about it x
