I’m trying to find the courage to initiate my 2nd round of ivf. I had a failed round in July, I have put off the second round to take DHEA and CoQ10 and give them chance to work, but now I need to initiate the 2nd round by ringing the clinic and paying for my drugs, but I’m just really struggling to do it!
I paid for 2 rounds of ivf, so after this I think I am done. I don’t know how people go through 4 or 5 rounds and keep going. I don’t think I am that strong!

I don’t need to go for another consultation, I just need to pay for my drugs and do a weigh in and I’m good to go! Just not sure I’m ready for the emotional rollercoaster! But I don’t think I ever will be!

I haven’t had counselling at the clinic, I was offered after my failed round but it doesn’t feel right to me to have treatment and counselling at the same place, I’m not having counselling at the moment but acupuncture, reflexology and hypnotherapy and my acupuncturist has been with me all the way through, so I talk to her quite a lot!
Hi. I'm all for acupuncture and hypnotherapy. If your acupuncturist is a good listener, then that's good to know. There is a charity called the British Infertility Counselling Association bica.net if you should need one. you have to pay, but they are qualified in fertility matters and relationships too. Diane
Hi!! I was in the same situation, one failed ivf and another (last) chance. I was terrified and still reeling from the one who failed but somehow i went ahead and i am now getting into my 7th week, ulteasound coming up tomorrow. Keep going its an indescriptible joy to overnight look at the bfp and being an expectant mum. Its truly lifechanging and an incredibke joy... you will get there, one way or another! Hugsss!

I went to a christening yesterday for a friends baby that was conceived on her second round of ivf, so I know it can work, I just need the courage to pick up the phone and buy my drugs! I’ll get there this week hopefully x
It's the hope that one day I will hold my precious bundle of joy in my arms that keeps me doing this. Im now gearing for round 4. All I have is hope that carrying my own baby will happen. Good luck with your next round.make that call. 😊😊
You know your priority. So its you who will decide and go for it. Somany people are going for several times.....if they can you can too. It is almost same for everyone. You know the procedure and tension one go through. Even I had two failed IVF try. Lost in 6/7 weeks. I am ready to go again.
