Hi all, I’m new on here as thought this may be a good place to share my story and raise awareness, also to see other people’s stories and experiences.
I was diagnosed in July 2017 with a condition know as premature ovarian failure (POF) and premature menopause at the age of 27, I turnt 28 not long after I was given this diagnosis.
Myself and my husband are in the early stages of IVF treatment via an egg donor, we have the funding in place and are on a waiting list for a donor. Hopeful we will start treatment soon and our dreams of starting a family come true soon x

Hello, welcome to the group! I hope you'll find all the needed support here. I'm really sorry to hear about your experience! I wish you all the luck in the world in your journey! As for me, I'm in the process of preparing for surrogacy motherhood with my own eggs, hopefully! But if my guys won't be approved for surrogacy, I'll have to make my mind about donor eggs... Hope we all will have a happy ending 🤞🤞🤞
Its the only option they have given me to use donor eggs... like you say we will get there!
As hard as it seems we will get our beautiful babies!! 😄 finding I need a lot of patience with all of this process as it’s out of our control. Learning to cope with it also is quite tough.
