Gosh it feels like it has been ages since I have posted. I have however been checking in on you all every now and then and I have seen some wonderful but also sad stories. My hubby banned me from this site at one point because I was checking it way too much haha! But as we are now embarking on our 3rd attempt soon it's time to reconnect. We are going to try donor sperm IVF in Cyprus now. We will be having treatment over Christmas and New Year which will make an interesting Christmas experience to say the least.
I'm also now obsessed with the idea of having twins, which is freaking hubby out lol
How is everyone?? Xxx

Hiya and welcome back. Hope some time away has helped i know it certainly did for me. I am also back to see whats been going on and just about to embark on our 3rd attempt but we are considering donor sperm as a option aswell. Wishing you all the success and baby dust for your 3rd cycle over christmas Xx
Hiya it's nice to hear from you. You're right the break away really helps to clear the head and refocus.
I see that you are considering access fertility and sperm donor. It's definitely a tough decision, we were in that position and decided donor after much consideration. I hope that you get success this time round also. We deserve it!!! Sending lots of baby dust to you too x
Welcome back 😊good to take some time out and away. This site is amazing however can be difficult at times too. Great you have a plan and a sunny Xmas coming up..let's hope this is your time 🌞🌞xxx
Hi there Vic nice to hear from you. Hope all is well with you. Yes this site gets addictive for me and then the IVF obsession starts lol but it's a support system so I don't see the harm. It will definitely be Christmas with a twist and hopefully one to remember xxx
Welcome back!! We're heading onto cycle 3 in December/January time too!! Trying to get rid of the half stone though first that I put on through the 2nd cycle/holiday etc!!
Thank you 😀 looks like we will be cycle buddies! Aww bless you I put on weight also after my last cycle but luckily I got in between so had a motivation then to lose some weight. Wishing you best of luck with this cycle xx
Hello again! My husband banned from here and all talk of ivf for a month..... I’m not sure I lasted but I gave it a good shot! How are you feeling about starting again? Could be the most wonderful Christmas present ever!! I’m going for my scratch tomorrow, after 3 months off I’m so excited to go again, and I totally get the twin thing! The more the merrier!!!! Hope you’re well and good luck! Xxxx
That's funny he banned you too. I thought it was just me haha! I've definitely been on a journey, a few months ago I was feeling fed up at the prospect of going through it again. We were considering paying for multicycle with access fertility but after much consideration we decided that we haven't got the energy or patience to go through multiple rounds. We said that if the multiple rounds were to fail we would end up doing donor sperm, so decided to save time and money by going straight to donor route. Now we are really excited that this could really work!! I'm so impatient now I just want to be there right now lol
I don’t blame you, the waiting is just torturous! I’m actually feeling really positive. My husband has really put the effort in with all the vitamins and cold baths! And we’ve been all organic, apart from the odd curry! But feel we are definitely ready for it! Xxx
Hey Tara welcome back! Cyprus sounds lovely, Christmas and New Year in the Sun!! Im in the midst of doing treatment abroad too, just waiting for my lining to thicken up to go out for transfer to Athens!xx
Hey! How exciting you are almost there, wishing you best of luck with your transfer. I so wish I was at transfer stage lol I'm sooooo impatient. Is yours a fresh or frozen cycle? What was the process for you? It's my first time doing it abroad and really excited for a Christmas with a twist xx
Well Ive been out to Athens already with hubby and egg collection was performed and the hope was to do fresh transfer over there but my lining was deemed rubbish, a bit on the thin side so our embryos were frozen - (you can have a read of my previous posts wont bore you too much). We have since come home and Ive had a bleed so it was onto meds to thicken lining up however my lining is proving to be a bit stubborn so on a high does of progynova and will fly out hopefully soon! I must say being away from home and going through all of this definitely had its plus points as you dont have to juggle appointments with work etc so in some ways a bit more relaxing.
Yes, Christmas will certainly have a twist for you guys!xx
