My name is Terri and I’m 31. Me and my Fiancé have been ttc for just over two years with no success of pregnancy. So in January 2017 we decided to both get checked out. So after a number of blood tests turns out that I have a low AMH level for my age. My fiancé test came back fine. Whilst I lost the weight I needed to get my bmi under 30 I was doing the clomid cycle for a couple of months. Turned out that the days of egg release was delayed (day 17 month 1, day 19 month 2) and I wasn’t ovulating either. So our only option now was ivf. So started the ivf treatment on the 21st of October. Had my egg collection on the 6th of November where they managed to collect 7 eggs. They managed to fertilise 4 of them and the embryo transfer is the 11th of November. Feeling excited and little nervous

We had 9 eggs but they were unable to tell us at the time how many were mature enough for fertilisation. When they called this morning they said the did ICSI on all 9 and the two that aren’t fertilised are ‘doing something’ so they’ll check them again. Depending on how many make it to Sunday, ET will be on day 3 (Sunday) or day 5 (Tuesday), so very close!
Welcome to the forum! I had a similar experience with clomid in that it didn’t cause me to ovulate either. Wishing you lots of luck for ET, it’s not as bad as you imagine and is over pretty quick. Enjoy the magic of watching your little embryo being put back where it belongs xx
It was tough experience but I’m glad I did it. My first cycle of IVF started on the 21st of October 2017 and I got pregnant from that cycle (first cycle) I’m now currently 33 weeks and 6 days pregnant with a boy. Due date is the 2nd of August 2018. I’m so glad that it worked first time as none of the other embryos weren’t viable to freeze. Xx
We started getting things when I was about 19 weeks pregnant and we knew once we had our 20 week scan. We are having a boy and we knew straight away because he showed us his nappy region first as the midwife put it lol. It still feels surreal but I’m excited as well xx

hey there! I hope you are doing great. IVF is a great process. although a little painful. but you should be aware of the right clinic because most of them are fraud. they are under experienced people trying to run a business. so whenever going for any health issue look for a good and trusted clinic. I hope your journey goes successfully.
